A trip to the cultural capital, Vienna, simply has to include visits to the many museums, theatres and unique attractions. Several group tours offer particularly deep insights into other worlds. The numerous group discounts are a special bonus as, with a little preparation, it is possible to save quite a considerable amount of money.
In the Technical Museum, there are daily tours with a focus on diverse topics. Or another option is it arrange a special tour in which the wishes and interests of the particular group are taken into account. This would cost €3.50 per person, plus the entrance fee to the museum.
In the Museum of Fine Arts, group tours are also available with a special emphasis on the interests of the particular group. We can also recommend the short tours, which last between 30 and 60 minutes. So even if you have little time, a visit to the museum is still possible.
There are also group discounts in the Albertina. A general tour for up to 25 people can be booked for as little as €110 in the famous art museum.
Our Tip: Many museums in Vienna offer discounts for groups. We recommend you check out their websites or simply call them.

As soon as the decision has been made to go on holiday as a group, the often difficult search for suitable accommodation begins. Hardly any hotels offer more than three beds in one room. This makes finding a hotel difficult and a plan to have a group holiday is at times in danger of falling apart before it has even begun.
The CheckVIENNA apartments are definitely a good alternative. In addition to the generous living areas they offer and beds for up to ten people per apartment, they are also considerably cheaper when compared to classic hotels. And the money that you save can be better spent on group activities.
Moreover, we also offer several group apartments in the same house. This means that everyone is together under one roof.
One of our apartments for groups is situated in Hütteldorfer Straße. It is suitable for up to ten people, is new with very modern furnishings and fittings and is also perfectly located for those who want to use various means of public transport.
Eight people can also stay in the apartment in Kröllgasse. The very low price and the proximity to the underground guarantee great flexibility and independence for those who choose this apartment.
If, by chance, a group excursion has to be cancelled due to bad weather, our blogs will provide you with super alternatives: further details can be found in our „Rainy Day Programme in Vienna“, part 1 and part 2. These individual tours are also perfectly suited for groups of travellers.
